Project Experience
Professional Services for Public Agencies - General
JBA provides on-call and contract-based engineering, surveying, and mapping services to public agencies on an as-needed basis. Currently, JBA provides on-call surveying and map checking services to the City of San Bernardino and on-call surveying services to the City of Loma Linda and the City of San Bernardino Unified School District. Joseph S.C. Bonadiman, P.E. acted as Interim Engineer for both the Lake Arrowhead Community Services District (LACSD) and the San Bernardino Valley Water Conservation District (SBVWCD) during transition periods of both Districts, and JBA continues to provide general consulting services to both LACSD and SBVWCD.

Water, Wastewater, & Reclaimed Water Facilities Engineering for Public Agencies
JBA provides professional engineering design and project/construction management services for the new construction, improvement, and rehabilitation of water storage, treatment, and transmission facilities, wastewater collection and treatment facilities, and reclaimed/recycled water facilities. These services generally include the preparation of all Plans, Specifications & Estimates (PS&E) and bid packages for public works/capital improvement projects, in addition to support and consultation (including budgeting) during the bid and construction phases of the project. Related services can include surveying/mapping, easements research/acquisition, and the preparation of environmental documentation and acquistion of agency permits.

Flood Control & Water Resources Engineering for Public Agencies

JBA has a long history of successful municipal flood control and water resources projects, due in part to the ongoing development of hydrology and hydraulics software by our sister company, Civildesign® Corporation. We have provided professional engineering design services for the new construction of large flood control channels, basins, dams, and ponds, recharge basins, reservoirs, and eveaporation ponds, and have prepared hydraulic analyses, scour analyses, and floodplain analyses for the improvement, repair, and protective measures of numerous existing flood control structures in Southern California. We have also prepared large hydrology master plans and FEMA Letters of Map Revision (LOMRs) and Certified Letters of Map Revision (CLOMRs) for the benefit of various agencies. Currently, JBA is preparing the Rimforest Drainage Feasibility Study for the San Bernardino County Flood Control District (SBCFCD) for the purpose of helping to protect the Rimforest community from devastating erosive conditions.

Alternative Energy & Eco-Friendly Projects
JBA has a firm committment to the successful development of large scale alternative energy projects in Southern California. We have provided professional engineering design services for alternative fuel projects, eco-friendly waste processing sites, recycled/reclaimed water facilities, and various LEED-certified developments. Currently, we are involved in various large-scale alternative energy projects in Southern California, the construction of a new natural gas main line in Cadiz, CA, and a bioprocessing plant in Colton, CA. As alternative energy projects gain momentum in the U.S. and the world, we look forward to an ongoing involvement in the development of these exciting techologies that have the potential to revolutionize our nation's infrastructure.
